July 19, 2010, Director General of IDGC Holding Nikolay Shvets and Director General of the Federal Foundation for Promoting Housing Construction Development (HCD Foundation) Aleksandr Braverman signed a cooperation agreement to implement Federal Law No. 161-FZ of July 24, 2008, “On Promoting Housing Construction Development.”

IDGC Holding will cooperate with the HCD Foundation to provide the necessary electricity network infrastructure for new housing, including through participation in carrying out investment programs of electricity network development.

“The agreement that we signed today is a significant social and infrastructural project. Our company finds it very important that the projects implemented by the HCD Foundation be linked to IDGC Holding’s investment programs carried out in constituent entities of the Russian. This will make it possible to make housing construction cheaper while reducing the tariff burden,” said Nikolay Shvets, Director General of IDGC Holding.

“It is planned to develop modern metering methods and techniques, including through introducing an automated system of electricity billing metering into house construction to be supervised by the HCD Foundation,” said Aleksandr Braverman, Director General of the HCD Foundation.
