According to the 2003 results, the CenterTelecom revenues from sales amounted to RUR 20 890 000 000 (over 700 million USD), which is 27% higher than that generated in 2002.
The revenues from the telecom services increased by 30%, as against the 2002 indicators, and the new services revenues – by 1.6 times.
JSC CenterTelecom is developing dynamically. During the last year, the Company built up and upgraded 598.9 thousand automatic telephone exchange numbers with 3 328.6 km of fiber-optic lines put into operation.
The basic financial indicators of JSC CenterTelecom were discussed at the meeting in Suzdal that gathered the directorial corps of the Company comprising the top-managers of all its 17 affiliate entities. Mr. Ruben Amaryan, General Director of the Company, noted that the major-company status (CenterTelecom consolidation took place in November 2002) presents a different business level which successfulness is made evident by its final aggregate operational indicators.
