Moscow, October 20, 2004. CenterTelecom General Director Ruben Amaryan took part in the "Social and Economic Territory Development on the Basis of Intelligent Resources. The Creation of a Russian Software Development Center in Dubna" conference.
The Minister of Information Technologies and Communications Leonid Reiman, Dubna Mayor Valery Prokh, the representatives of the business community, scientific and public organizations also participated in the conference.
Within the framework of the conference the agreement to develop the Russian programming center in Dubna was signed. The project will cost $ 470 million and will be completed in 2012. The agreement was signed by the Government of Moscow region, Dubna city authorities, The Integrated Institute of Nuclear Research, Dubna Governor's University as well as several public and commercial organizations.
The project provides for the creation of a local science lab specializing in IT development and production in Dubna.
Within the framework of the project, conditions to locate a few dozens of IT companies in Dubna will be created. Development of a new industrial area focused primarily on manufacturing of IT hardware and components is also planned.
