Moscow, August 31, 2004. According to CenterTelecom Telecom Operations Department, the company’s Internet data volume in 1H 2004 grew by 62.1 % y-o-y. The growth was the highest in Vladimir, Ivanovo and Bryansk branches of the company.
According to the Department’s director Nikolay Khrenov, both dial-up and dedicated traffic grew. Dial-up traffic grew 45.7 % and totaled 780 million minutes. The growth was the highest in Kostroma, Ivanovo and Bryansk branches. Vladimir and Voronezh branches became the leaders in terms of traffic growth whereby it totaled 111 million minutes.
The dedicated traffic grew by 88.5 % in 1H and totaled 30.6 thousand Gb. Yaroslavl (4.8 Gb), Belgorod (4.3 Gb) and Voronezh (4.1 Gb) branches are in the lead.
