While compiling the PJSC MGTS telephone directory, the database of the biggest Russian local telephone communication operator was used by the contractor, which includes official and latest updated information relative to PJSC MGTS subscribers, as well as pertaining to other telecommunications companies in Moscow.
For user convenience, the "MOSCOW-2003" directory was produced on electronic media (i.e. in CD-ROM version) prior to releasing its paper edition.
The "MOSCOW-2003" telephone directory carries information concerning 100 000 organizations and enterprises of the capital of Russia, the data being arranged in the form of an alphabetic retrieval index that contains about 2000 rubrics. The information in each rubric is collocated according to the names of the organizations in alphabetical order. There are also individual rubrics in the directory comprising information as to organizations and enterprises in the Moscow Region.
For easier searching of the information required, a comprehensive reference system is fed into the alphabetic retrieval index, enabling to effect the seeking of a needful rubric by means of a key word.
Besides, the most important data concerning the telephone numbers of emergency directory inquiry and custom services based in the capital-city of Russia, country and city telephone codes, long distance and international telephone communications operating instructions, and the exhaustive map of Moscow, are contained in the telephone directory. For the accommodation of a caller, conventional and specific word and/or name abbreviations are also listed in the information pages of the book.
At the present time, one can make use of the "Moscow-2003" telephone directory free of charge, which paper copies are placed in PJSC MGTS public payphone booths located at the Moscow subway stations, hotels and shopping centers, as well as in theaters and education institutions in the capital-city. The "Moscow-2003" telephone directory will soon come into the Moscow market. |
