This joint project is a natural step in the mass broadband Internet access development.

"In February MGTS and MTU-Intel entered the mass broadband Internet access market with STREAM rates. Now we are making the next step by opening a game portal. This is a unique resource whose capabilities are supported by MGTS technological base and MTU-Intel experience in this domain," – said MGTS assistant general director Alexander Konovalov.

The first games available at the portal are most popular: Counter-Strike, IL-2. Strike fighter, Wizards World, Ultima on-line. The number of games offered and the variety of their genres will grow as the gaming domain increases.

MGTS and MTU-Intel have developed intuitively understandable navigation specifically for this portal and prepared detailed game instructions, so even someone who has never played a computer game will easily understand everything. However, technical support is also available to the portal visitors.

"The portal will be available for all visitors; however, STREAM subscribers will have certain advantages both in terms of access rate and the price. Between June 1 and the end of summer vacations we will not charge our clients’ traffic, which will allow them to play indefinitely," - said MTU-Intel commercial director Nikolay Zakharov.

At the first phase the number of portal users playing simultaneously can be as high as one thousand. On the basis of the new project, MGTS and MTU-Intel plan to conduct various tournaments, including international. The Federation of Computer Sports of Russia has already expressed its interest in the capabilities offered by the Portal.
