MGTS is commissioning digital exchanges at Zamoskvorechye node

On February 15, 2005, Moscow City Telephone Network will begin switching the analog exchanges of Zamoskvorechye telephone node to modern digital exchanges.

The numbers and series of numbers where one or three digits will be replaced are subject to switching:

The number will be completely changed in case of only 600 subscriber lines starting with 353, which will be changed to 600.

The upgrade of Zamoskvorechye node will allow MGTS to liquidate 7 326 coupled lines.

All subscribers have been notified in written form about switching to the new digital equipment and the change in the numeration. Additionally, five days prior to the switchover an automatic informer will notify each client over the telephone.

Subscribers can free of charge post the information concerning the number change with 09 directory service by applying through Zamoskvorechye node.
