Victor Rashnikov, General Director of the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, has been awarded the SPI Gold Medal.
   SPI (Societe d’Encouragement pour l’Industrie Nationale ) founded in 1801 by decree of Napoleon Bonaparte, has the task of promoting the development and modernization of world industry. It is involved in various projects disseminating information on industrial, economic and social achievements.
   The SPI Gold Medal, together with the relevant diploma, testifies to efficient operation of enterprises and organizations, their recognized status on the domestic and international markets, and the quality of their goods and services. A badge of honour presented to a senior executive certifies his or her personal contribution to the company's strategic management.
