General director of LOMO PLC Arkady Kobitsky got into the fifth annual rating of professional reputation of the Russian managers top-1000, which prepared by the Association of managers and editorial office "Kommersant".
   At the same time the second annual rating of professional reputation of functional directors was also made. Representatives of the Petersburg optical firm got into this list again - Margarita Kozlova - Deputy General director - Director on production and economics, Sergey Shnourov - Deputy of General director - Marketing and Sales director and Alexander Gruzin - Deputy General director - Director on personnel and economic security.
   During preparing of the rating candidates from almost 3000 organizations were estimated. More than 400 authoritative experts - representatives of the Russian companies, state organizations and business associations - took part in the compiling of estimating lists.
   As in previous ratings, managers were estimated by two groups of criterions: professional effectiveness and personal business reputation. It was necessary that enterprise, headed by manager, to be one of the biggest in the branch of industry. Besides, index of mentioning of manager in the Russian print media was also a very important parameter.
   The term "professional reputation of manager" means both personal capacities and the row of other parameters, characterizing effectiveness of management of the enterprise and functional direction.  This is, at the first place, effectiveness in management, financial, commercial, innovative and social aspects of the enterprise activity. Besides, leading and professional qualities, public trust to the candidate and authority among colleges were estimated.
   From the very beginning the rating of professional reputation became the index of situation in the Russian business. The fact that top-managers of LOMO PLC got into this rating for several years says not only about their personal achievements, but also about the work of the company on the whole.
