On June 11, 2004 LOMO PLC was awarded with gold medal of the Russian-Switzerland business-club "For the faultless business reputation". The award was handed to General Director of LOMO Arkady Kobitsky in the solemn ceremony, passed in Moscow in the State central museum of the modern history of Russia. The Russian-Switzerland business-club was founded in 1994 in Geneva and now it unites several decades of companies from Switzerland and Russia. There are such famous firms as "Pri?e Waterhouse Coopers ", "Rosbank", the Moscow State University of Management and others among club's constant members. The club established the gold medal "For the faultless reputation" in 2001. It's handed to entrepreneurs from Russia in order to strengthen image of Russian business in the world market. Decision about handing of this honored award is taken by the expert council. Representatives of the Russian-Switzerland business-club, the Russian Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs, the Highest Institute of Business and Management (Geneva, Switzerland), the International consulting company "Technomic Consultants" and non-profit partnership "National credit bureau" form this expert council. Analysis of such characteristics as effectiveness, financial stability, solvency of the enterprise, qualification of managers and personnel, culture of production lays on the basis of choice of laureates of the program.
