St. Petersburg, Russia; 7 June, 2018– Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of its two new supermarkets located in Kemerovo and Novosibirsk.
The first store is a Lenta supermarket located in Kemerovo at 90/1 Lenina Street. The store has a total area of 2,777 sq.m with 1,138 sq.m of selling space. A broad product assortment of 11,220 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Kemerovo. The store has a parking and 9 cash registers. The property is owned by Lenta.
The second store is a Lenta supermarket located in Novosibirsk at 276 bld.11 Dusi Kovalchuk street. The store has a total area of 1,119 sq.m with 672 sq.m of selling space and offers a broad product assortment of 6,260 SKUs. The property is leased by Lenta.
Both stores are open from 8 am to 11 pm, seven days a week. Product assortment of both supermarkets include Lenta’s private labels and federal product ranges alongside local produce.
The new openings in Novosibirsk and Kemerovo are Lenta’s thirteenth and fourteenth supermarket launches in 2018 and bring the total number of Lenta stores to 232 hypermarkets in 84 cities across Russia and 110 supermarkets in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and the Central region.
