St. Petersburg, Russia; 25 December, 2018– Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of its new supermarkets in Novosibirsk and Moscow.
The first store is a Lenta supermarket located in Berdsk, Novosibirsk oblast, at 15 Komsomolskaya street. The store has a total area of 1,434 sq.m with 948 sq.m of selling space. A broad product assortment of 9,500 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Berdsk. The store has 60 parking spaces and 8 cash registers. The property is owned by Lenta.
The second store is a Lenta supermarket located in Novosibirsk at 27 Tyulenina street. The store has a total area of 1,656 sq.m with 998 sq.m of selling space and offers a broad product assortment of 9,500 SKUs. The store has 50 parking spaces and 8 cash registers. The property is owned by Lenta.
The third store is a Lenta supermarket located in Moscow at 2A Okruzhnoy proezd. The store has a total area of 1,480 sq.m with 975 sq.m of selling space and offers a broad product assortment of 10,500 SKUs. The store has 8 cash registers. The property is leased by Lenta.
All three stores are open from 8 am to 11 pm, seven days a week. Product assortment of supermarkets includes Lenta’s private labels and federal product ranges alongside local produce.
The new openings in Novosibirsk and Moscow are Lenta’s thirty-seventh, thirty-eighth and thirty-ninth supermarket launches in 2018 and bring the total number of Lenta stores to 239 hypermarkets in 88 cities across Russia and 133 supermarkets in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Siberia, Urals and the Central region.
