Saint Petersburg, Russia; 12 February 2019– Lenta (LSE, MOEX: LNTA), one of the largest retail chains in Russia, announces the appointment of Ruslan Ismailov as Supermarket Format Director.
Ruslan has over sixteen years of experience in retail and FMCG companies. Prior to joining Lenta in 2007, Ruslan held operational positions in Metro Cash&Carry. In Lenta, Ruslan served as Regional Director, Chief Operational Officer and Divisional Director.
Ruslan Ismailov has a bachelor degree in International economic relations from the State University of Customer Cooperation, Moscow.
Lenta’s Chief Executive Officer Herman Tinga said: “We welcome Ruslan as part of the Management team. Ruslan has extensive experience in operational management and knows Lenta very well, both the company and supermarkets format will benefit from his expertise. As the Supermarket Format Director, Ruslan will be responsible for implementation of Supermarkets development strategy, improving business model of the format, embracing initiatives to refine the offer and customer experience in supermarkets as well as financial performance and returns”.
