St. Petersburg, Russia, 16 September 2019– Lenta (LSE, MOEX: LNTA), one of the largest retail chains in Russia, has received the highest score in a survey by Advantage Group, which included a mutual assessment of the relationship quality between manufacturers and retailers. The Company’s hypermarkets ranked the highest in most categories, leaving competitors behind in overall performance.
Advantage Group’s survey was conducted through 1,166 questionnaires and over 318 phone interviews with 130 suppliers of consumer goods. Questions on each organisation’s relationship with retailers covered a total of 26 topics, including strategy, category management, supply chain, stores performance and cooperation with suppliers. Lenta’s hypermarkets led ratings in such important areas as strategy, implementing agreed plans, competency of personnel, process for making decisions, driving demand, introduction of new products, sharing information, collaboration and trust with suppliers. Compared with the previous year, Lenta has improved its score and retained the first place in the overall rating.
