"Southern Telecommunications Company" PJSC headed by General Director V.L.Gorbachev is nominated the winner of the Contest among "Telecom operators" for introducing efficient methods of quality management, achieving significant results in provision of the quality of equipment, telecom services and informatization. "Svyazinform" Astrakhan Region" - branch of "UTK" PJSC headed by A.P. Prachkin is also among the laureates of the Contest.

Award ceremony will take place in September 2003. The Contest in the field of quality was launched in December 1997 and is conducted by the Communications Ministry on an annual basis.

The technical policy of "UTK" PJSC is aimed at development of telecom networks using the equipment meeting the world standards. The Quality Award given by Advisory Council of the Contest evidences the correctness of the chosen policy aimed at introduction of modern technologies as well as high quality and reliability of telecom services provided by "Southern Telecommunications Company" PJSC in the south of Russia.
