Revenues from telecom services stood at RUR 1.645 million which is up 15,4% on the same period last year.
Revenues from domestic and international long-distance telephony rose 13,6% in comparison with 2002 standing at RUR 828.2 million. Revenues from local telephony is up 1,6 times to RUR 625.9 million, a 34,2% - increase over the previous year. Revenues from value-added services increased 58% on 1H02 and stood at RUR 41.1 million. In 1H03 number of basic telephones increased by 28158 sets (a 21,9%-gain over the previous year). During the reported period first telephones were installed in 10 localities that had no telephones at all.
