June 3, 2008, Moscow: COMSTAR – United TeleSystems JSC (COMSTAR-UTS, LSE: COMSTAR – United TeleSystems (COMSTAR-UTS, LSE: CMST), the leading supplier of integrated telecommunication solutions in Russia and the CIS, announced that ZAO COMSTAR-Direct, the premier broadband Internet provider (STREAM brand), a member of COMSTAR-UTS Group, now renewed its tariff line to subscribe its users to "STREAM 10 hit" tariff plan providing a bitrate of 10 Mbit/s.
Starting June 2, COMSTAR-Direct launches new unlimited tariff plans for Internet access service at bitrates of 2, 4, 6, and 10 Mbit/s with "STREAM 1", "STREAM 3", and "STREAM 5" tariff plan subscription being discontinued. The users may subscribe at a bitrate of 2 Mbit/s and lower with MGTS, which is also a member of "COMSTAR-UTS" company Group. The monthly fee for the users of other tariff plans, or for new "COMSTAR-Direct" subscribers to "STREAM 10 hit" makes 1,050 rubles.

"We are presently launching 10 Mbit/s tariff plan with a possibility for the majority of our users to have Internet access at a rate of 24 Mbit/s after MGTS network update, while launching new tariffs and offering attractive additional services help us stimulate the user transfer to a higher bitrate tariffs", Sergey Nazarov emphasized.
