Recently representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of the Russian Federation have visited KAMAZ Inc. in the context of development of their partnership.This was the first in the series of meetings of managers and experts of KAMAZ Inc. with the heads of all six regions that was planned for April and May.
MES has always been among the largest corporate customers of the Company within a long time already. This cooperation has been quite fruitful and mutually beneficial. There have been introduced many joint plans and programs. For example, a KAMAZ-43118 multi-purpose off-road truck, which is quite popular on the market today, has been developed in cooperation with this Ministry, and it was MES that acquired the first batch of these off-road vehicles.
Among members of this delegation there were representatives from Volga and Ural regional centers of MES. They toured the main divisions of KAMAZ Inc. and were introduced its latest developments and innovations. Army officers - members of the MES delegation - expressed their wish that KAMAZ further continue developing and introducing new superstructures for fire-trucks and special emergency vehicles. They paid special attention to new prototypes of a KAMAZ model range and have expressed their interest in acquiring of fire-fighting trucks with a 3 cub.m capacity water tanks. MES wishes to renovate its old fleet and replace obsolete ZIL trucks in it by diversified superstructures based on KAMAZ-4308, and KAMAZ-4307 small range chassis.
At the closing meeting Anatoly Samarenkin, Deputy Director General of KAMAZ Inc., has underlined major competitive advantages of the Company at the Russian market, such as improved quality of KAMAZ vehicles, its well-established wide network of dealers and company service centers that are ensuring after-sale and warranty services all over Russia.
KAMAZ Inc. is annually developing and launching into production over 200 new models and modifications of KAMAZ trucks by order either of the Trade and Finance House of KAMAZ Inc. or other corporate or major customers.
