LSR Group CEO and Chairman of the Executive Committee Andrey Molchanov has been awarded the Medal of the Order for Merit to the Fatherland, First Class. The honour was confirmed by Russian Presidential Decree No. 546, issued on 12 November 2019.

This is not the first time that Mr. Molchanov’s work has been recognized by the Russian Government at the highest level: he has previously received the Medal in Commemoration of the 300th Anniversary of St. Petersburg, the Medal of the Order for Merit to the Fatherland, Second Class, and a Certificate of Merit from the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly. The LSR Group founder is also an honorary citizen of Leningrad Region.

Medal of the Order for Merit to the Fatherland is awarded to citizens for outstanding contributions to the nation in connection with the development of Russian statehood, work related achievements, and the strengthening of peace, friendship, and cooperation between people, and for significant contributions to national defence.
