On working meeting of Alexey Miller, Viset Choopiban and Chitrapongse Kwangsukstith

Gazprom’s Headquarters has hosted today a working meeting of Alexey Miller, Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee, Viset Choopiban Thailand’s Energy Minister and Chitrapongse Kwangsukstith, Senior Executive Vice President of PTT Public Company Limited (Thailand).

The parties expressed their interest in promoting strategic long-term and mutually beneficial partnership ties between Gazprom and Thai energy firms both in Thailand and third countries.

In particular, the meeting touched upon Gazprom’s potential involvement in oil & gas exploration, production, transmission, storage, processing and marketing projects as well as development of business contacts with the leading Thai energy firm PTT Public Company Limited.

The parties achieved an accord to come up over a two-month period with a business plan on major directions of potential cooperation and to discuss it during a summit of the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation member countries, to be held in Pusan, South Korea.
