Draft General Collective Agreement of Gazprom and subsidiaries for 2007 through 2009 approved

Today Gazprom Headquarters have hosted the Conference for the company’s employees approving the Draft General Collective Agreement of Gazprom and subsidiaries for 2007 to 2009.

Attending the conference were 108 delegates representing 62 Gazprom subsidiaries with nearly 270 employees.

The Conference work was attended by Alexander Ananenkov, Sergey Ushakov, Alexander Kozlov, Deputy Chairmen of the Gazprom Management Committee, Vladimir Babkin, Chairman of the Gazprom Interregional Trade Union, representatives of the company’s administration, Neftegazstroyprofsoyuz of Russia, members of the Commission for regulating social labor relations, general directors and representatives of Gazprom subsidiaries’ trade unions.

Alexander Ananenkov reported that social economic and labor rights have been, are and will be the most important directions to provide efficient business activity of the company and the General Collective Agreement is a guarantee for observing these rights. At the same time the incentive forms, methods and amount both for the Administration and subsidiaries must be strongly tied up with concrete operating results and efficiency indicators.

The draft General Collective Agreement of Gazprom and subsidiaries for 2007 to 2009 is developed due to the end of the General Collective Agreement of Gazprom and subsidiaries for 2004 to 2006.

The main goal of the Agreement is to coordinate the interests of employees and employer in the framework of the social cooperation as well as providing strong guarantees and benefits for employees taking into consideration the company’s economic opportunities in comparison with the RF legislation, and other Normative Legal Acts, the Industry Tariff Agreement.

The General Collective Agreement signing is a part of Gazprom policy for employee social security improvement. The first stage in this direction was the signing of the Industry Tariff Agreement of 2000 between Gazprom’s employees and top management of subsidiaries for 2001 to 2003.
