Mr. Alexey Miller, Chairman of OAO Gazprom Management Committee has appointed Mr. Nikolai Stolyar as Head of OAO Gazprom Technological Process Control Systems Automation Department.

Mr. Nikolai F. Stolyar was born in 1953, in the Lyakhovichi Region of the Brest Oblast.

In 1975 Mr. Stolyar graduated from the Kiev Higher Military Engineering Academy, getting specialty in Radio Communication. In 2006 Mr. Stolyar finished the post graduate school with the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics. Mr. Stolyar holds a PhD degree in Technical Sciences.

From 1975 to 1992 Mr. Stolyar worked for the Government Communications Directorate, from 1992 to 1999 – for the Government Communications Directorate with the Federal Agency for Government Communications and Information.

Between 1999 and 2002 Mr. Stolyar held the posts of Engineer, Deputy Director in the Verkhnevolzhskoye Production & Technology Communications Department of Saint-Petersburg.

In 2002 Mr. Stolyar was named as Director General of OAO Gazprom subsidiary ZAO Gaztelecom.

Mr. Alexey Lisin, previously serving as Head of OAO Gazprom Automation, Information, Telecommunication and Metrology Department, has resigned of his own volition.
