Gazprom delegation takes business trip to Krasnodar Krai

Today the Gazprom delegation led by Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee took a business trip to the Olympic facilities being built by Gazprom in the Krasnodar Krai. The delegation was composed of Yaroslav Golko, Head of the Gazprom Investment and Construction Department, as well as heads and experts from the Company’s specialized subdivisions.

Taking part in the meeting and visiting the facilities were also heads and experts from Gazprom’s subsidiaries: Gazprom komplektatsiya, Gazprom transgaz Kuban, Gazprom sotsinvest and contracting companies.

Within the business trip a visit was paid to the construction site of the Dzhubga – Lazarevskoye – Sochi gas pipeline near the settlement of Kudepsta. Later on, Alexander Ananenkov chaired a meeting in Sochi dedicated to the progress with the gas pipeline construction.

It was noted at the meeting that the gas pipeline was constructed according to schedule. At present, onshore horizontal directional drilling is underway for the pipeline landfalls near the settlements of Dzhubga and Kudepsta and the town of Tuapse. Similar operations have been completed near the settlement of Novomikhailovskoye. The meeting participants emphasized that Gazprom attached particular importance to the environmental issues during the gas pipeline construction.

As part of the trip the delegation visited the Olympic facilities being built by Gazprom in Krasnaya Polyana. There, Alexander Ananenkov held a meeting, at which he was informed that all the operations were performed according to schedule. At present, a foundation of a stadium is being built as part of the combined ski and biathlon complex. A number of facilities of the mountain tourist center are under construction. In particular, the third building of the Polyana Grand Hotel complex is almost ready.

Based on the meeting results, Gazprom’s specialized subdivisions, subsidiaries and contracting companies were entrusted with the tasks aimed at meeting the prescribed construction deadlines for the Olympic facilities.
