The opening ceremony of the 21st International Conference and Exhibition on LNG, LPG and natural gas - GASTECH-2005 - was held today at the exhibition center in Bilbao, Spain.

This year Gazprom's delegation for the first time takes part in the conference. The delegation is comprised of the leading experts of the company administration's functional departments.

Gazprom presented its corporate exposition at the GASTECH exhibition. Special attention is devoted to Gazprom subsidiaries' new developments in natural gas production and transportation, LNG production and utilization. VNIIGAZ, Gazkomplektimpex, Lentransgaz, Surgutgazprom, Uraltransgaz, Giprospetsgaz, Orgehergogaz are among these subsidiaries. The corporate exposition was prepared by the Information and Publicity Center for the Gas Industry - IRTs Gazprom.

The conference and exhibition are to be held until 17 March 2005.
