A meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Robert Dudley, Chief Executive Officer of British Petroleum (BP) took place today as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2013.
The parties discussed the main bilateral cooperation issues in the oil and gas sector. In particular, the meeting addressed a possible increase in Russian natural gas supplies to the UK and the prospects for joint projects in global energy markets, including LNG markets.
Background
In 2012 Gazprom Group supplied the UK with 11.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
