Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee today awarded prizes at the Company's headquarters to the winners of a corporate contest aimed at assessing the work done by the public relations (PR) services of Gazprom's subsidiaries in 2012.
The Sibirsky Gazovik newspaper (Gazprom Transgaz Surgut) won the Best Corporate Print Media nomination.
Gazprom Energo became the winner of the Best Industry PR Project nomination for the information coverage of the company's activities in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area.
The Perform a Deed charitable bike ride dedicated to the 45th anniversary of Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg was awarded as the Best Social PR Project.
Larisa Semyonova, Head of the PR Department at TGC-1 won the Best PR Manager nomination.
Alexander Bespalov, Head of the Information and Communications Department awarded special prizes for Strengthening the Company's Positions in the Region and Significant Personal Contribution to Building Efficient Information Policy of Gazprom in 2012. The awards were presented to Natalia Galkina, Head of the PR Service of Gazprom Transgaz Saratov and Alexey Zavyalov, PR Adviser to Director General of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Vologda.

Background
The corporate contest among the PR services of Gazprom's subsidiaries has been held since 2009. The contest is aimed at advancing the professional skills of the corporate print media and developing the creativity and initiative of PR specialists working in subsidiaries.
The winners are determined by a jury composed of independent experts – journalists, publishers, PR specialists as well as employees from the Gazprom Information and Communications Department and the Gazprom Magazine. The jury is chaired by Vyacheslav Lashchevsky, Chairman of the Board of Directors at AGT Communications Group.
