The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a conference call dedicated to Oil and Gas Industry Workers Day.
The conference call was broadcast for 54 companies of Gazprom Group.
Alexey Miller congratulated the Gazprom team on the holiday and announced that the Company's employees were awarded the Russian Ministry of Energy prizes (499 people) and the Gazprom prizes (744 people) for an outstanding contribution into the fuel and energy sector development.
During the conference call Alexey Miller awarded five prizes. The Merit Certificates of the Russian Ministry of Energy were granted to Nikolai Anikin, Electric Welder from Gazprom Transgaz Moscow and Igor Lobanov, Division Head of the Gas, Gas Condensate and Oil Production Department, Gazprom. Gazprom's Veteran Badge – to Nikolai Ivanov, Section Head of Gazprom UGS. Gazprom's Merit Certificate – to Olga Avdeeva, Chief Technologist of the Gas Transportation, Underground Storage and Utilization Department. Gazprom's Letter of Gratitude – to Pavel Glukhov, Pipelayer Driver from Gazprom Transgaz Moscow.
Top executives from Gazprom Dobycha Nadym, Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg, Gazprom Transgaz Surgut, Gazprom Transgaz Saratov and Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat delivered reports on their companies' operating results.
Taking part in the conference call was the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, who had been Chairman of the Gazprom Board of Directors from 2000 to 2001 and from 2002 to 2008. He congratulated Gazprom's employees on their professional holiday.
