A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Gazprom’s Management Committee Chairman and Jim Mulva, President and CEO of ConocoPhillips has been conducted today at Gazprom’s Headquarters.

The meeting addressed the present-day and prospective status of bilateral cooperation deepening, as stipulated by the Memorandum of Understanding clinched.

The parties debated the progress in the joint work aiming to deliver liquefied natural gas from the Shtokman gas condensate field to the USA.

On 22 December 2004, Gazprom and ConocoPhillips signed a Memorandum of Understanding stipulating a preliminary feasibility study to be performed for a liquefied natural gas production and transmission project targeted at the Shtokman gas condensate field output marketing in the USA and other countries on both sides of the Atlantic.
