Today, at Gazprom’s Headquarters, Alexander Ryazanov, Deputy Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee and Dmitry Kazakov, Beltransgaz’s Director General have entered into a Gas Sales and Transit Agreement over 2005.
In pursuance of the Agreement, Gazprom will provide Belarus with 19.1 bcm of gas worth $46.68 per 1,000 cu m, with additional supplies up to 1.4 bcm to be effected to the Republic provided there is enough gas transmission capacity available.
The tariffs for gas transmission by the Beltransgaz-owned networks and Yamal-Europe pipeline will account for $0.75 and $0.46 per 1,000 cu m, respectively.

Belarus received a total of 10.2 bcm of gas worth $46.68 per 1,000 cu m, with the tariffs for gas transmission by the Beltransgaz-owned networks and Yamal-Europe pipeline accounting for $0.75 and $0.46 per 1,000 cu m, respectively.
Prior to the Agreement signing, Russian gas had been channeled to Belarusian consumers by the Trans Nafta, ITERA and SIBUR independent gas producers.
