Gazprom’s Tender Commission announces the tender to select appraisal organizations, with winners to be awarded by Gazprom and its subsidiaries with contracts to deliver independent valuations.
Applicants are free to submit their entries from 11 January through 11 February 2005.
40 eligible valuers are planned to be selected at the end of the tender.
Applicants must hold an appraisal practice license and fit with the tender requirements.
The documents enabling an applicant to get involved in the tender should be sent by mail to 117997 (postal code), GSP-7, B-420, Moscow, 16 Nametkina St., Office 2609 and addressed to O.P. Pavlova, Chairman of the Tender Commission and Member with Gazprom’s Management Committee.
All entries forwarded to the Commission beyond the preset deadline will be disregarded.

The Directive to set up a Tender Commission responsible for the selection of appraisal companies was signed by Gazprom’s top management on 20 December 2004.
Olga Pavlova, Gazprom’s Management Committee Member and Head of the Company’s Asset Management and Corporate Relations Department, was named as the Commission’s Head.
In addition to Gazprom’s experts, the Commission also includes:
- M.A. Fedotova - Rector of the Professional Appraisal Institute;
- S.A. Tabakova - President of the Russian Society of Appraisers;
- M.L. Kudelya-Odabashyan - Rector of the Market Infrastructure Institute;
- V.B. Shepelev - Chairman of the Expert Council with the Russian Board of Appraisers.
