Gazprom’s Headquarters today hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Gazprom’s Management Committee Chairman and Vladimir Chub, Governor of the Rostov Region.
The meeting debated the implementation of a Cooperation Agreement between Gazprom and the Rostov Region as well as issues in relation to the construction of Regional gas transmission facilities.
In addition, the parties looked into the issue of earmarking additional gas for newly established Regional companies to be provided with gas in accordance with Gazprom’s 2005 gas quota allocations.

Gazprom and the Rostov Region entered into a 5-year Cooperation Agreement in September 2002.
In 2003, Gazprom supplied Regional consumers with over 7 bcm of gas (7.4% on the target), with roughly the same amount slated for 2004.
The Rostov Region’s gas supply infrastructure is developed at 59.2%, including at 70.3%, in cities and towns and 33.1%, in rural area. Identical Russia-averaged parameters account for 52.7%, 60.2% and 33.1%, respectively. Over 2004, Gazprom channeled RUR 60.99 mln for the construction of gas supply facilities in the Rostov Region.
Regional consumers’ 2004 gas payments account for 94.12%, with gas debt having shrunk by RUR 34.8 mln to RUR 786.5 mln, as of 1 December 2004.
