Today at the Gazprom Headquarters, Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee chaired a joint meeting of the Gazprom Emergencies Response & Fire Safety Commission and the Civil Defense Board.
The meeting was informed on the readiness of Gazprom’s subsidiary companies and organizations to protect the staff and property against natural and man-made emergency situations. Special attention was paid to the arrangement of staff evacuation in case such emergencies occur.
Consideration was also given to the progress with Gazprom’s updated Corporate Civil Defense Plan reflecting the recent changes in the federal legislation and the new structure of the Gazprom Group.
The meeting participants summed up the work done by the Commission and the Board in 2009 and discussed the tasks for 2010.
Based on the meeting results, Gazprom’s specialized subdivisions and subsidiaries were entrusted with the appropriate tasks.
