Today, Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee, met Mr. Sergey Kotanandov, President of the Republic of Karelia, at Gazprom’s Headquarters.
The parties discussed an Agreement on cooperation between Gazprom and the Karelian government progress.
Alexey Miller and Sergey Kotanandov touched the issues related the 63.9 km Petrozavodsk-Kondopoga pipeline branch comstruction completion.

A Cooperation Agreement between Gazprom and the Government of Karelia was signed 17 February 1999.
More than 339 mln cu m of gas were delivered to the Republic over January to November 2003, or 94.6% of the 2003 commitment.
Total pipeline length is 114.6 km.
Gas account for only 2.4% in the Republic’s energy mix. To the rural area gas is not supplied yet.
Current gas deliveries are 99% paid-up, at 1 December 2003 total indebtedness for gas supplied is RR 14.8 mln, that is RR 5.2 mln more compared to that on January 2003.
The Petrozavodsk- Kondopoga gas pipeline construction is based on an amicable agreement conformed between Gazprom and the Government of Karelia, Kondopoga PC and Lentransgaz LLC in May 2000.
Recently 75% of the project has been finalized (RR 439 million invested as at 1 January 2003).
