Today, at Gazprom’s headquarters, the Company’s Management Committee Chairman, Alexey Miller, and the Chairman of Gazprom’s Interregional Trade Union, Vladimir Babkin, signed the Gazprom Group’s General Collective Agreement FOR 2004-2006.
The new paper is valid for Gazprom and its 100% subsidiaries’ employees and employers as well as for elected and assigned managers of Gazprom’s Interregional Trade Union Council and the Gazprom Group’s trade union divisions.
The General Collective Agreement was approved at the Gazprom Group’s Employees’ Conference held on November 21, 2003.
Alexey Miller and Vera Shatalova, Chairman of the Company’s Trade Union, also signed today a new 2004-2006 Collective Agreement between Gazprom’s Administration’s employers and employees. The participants of the Conference on adopting the Agreement, held on December 19, 2003, unanimously approved this document.
The Collective Agreement is a legal act adjusting social and labor relationship between Gazprom’s employers and employees based on voluntary execution of mutual obligations.
The key objective of the Collective Agreement is to coordinate the employers and employees’ interests within the frames of social partnership principles and to provide, in accordance with the RF legislation, other legal acts and the Gas Industry Tariff Agreement, privileges and benefits to the employees.
