The first batch of the GAZelle and Sobol vehicles meeting the EURO-3 norms was assembled at JSC GAZ

More than 400 CDN representatives from Russia, CIS countries, Turkey, Czechia, Slovakia and Estonia took part in the meeting. The program included work in "Sales of vehicles in the RF", "Sales of vehicles in CIS and foreign countries", "Sales of spare parts" sections. Dealers were also acknowledged with the results of the GAZ Production System at assembly sites for cars and trucks, visited the special machines exhibition, and participated in a test drive of perspective models of GAZ vehicles.
"Russian Vehicles" Trading House management acknowledged CDN representatives with the results of 2004 in the sphere of production and sales, raising of quality of GAZ-manufactured goods, warranty service and further development of dealers' network.
For all the figures the year of 2004 was a success. Totally 230,664 vehicles and auto kits were sold: 69,976 cars, 160,668 trucks, special vehicles and buses. It exceeds figures of 2003 by 6.8% (14,629 vehicles and auto kits). Sales of all manufactured models of GAZ vehicles in the RF comprised 186,143 items. Export component significantly rose mainly due to supplies to non-CIS foreign countries - sevenfold in comparison with 2003, comprising 9,998 vehicles. 34,523 items were sold in the CIS countries (sales volume growth - 20.6%). 7,834 auto kits were shipped to assembling companies of Ukraine and Lithuania. Totally, 44,521 vehicles and auto kits were exported - it exceeds figures of 2003 by 14%.

Positive sales dynamics is connected with the introduction of the "GAZ OAO Production System" aimed at raising of quality of goods, development of manufacturing of the restyling variant of "Volga" GAZ-31105, fitting of medium capacity trucks with diesel engines of the Minsk Motor Plant, mastering of the commodity distribution network, clever work with customers.
2005 Business Plan foresees sales at the level of 230,000 vehicles and auto kits.

The further development of a model range in this year foresees the appearance of the "Valday" medium capacity urban type truck, development of a modernized version of "Volga" with renewed interior and exterior, continuation of works on GAZ-3106 jeep.
Principle efforts in the sphere of technical and sales policies will be directed towards raising of quality and resource of GAZ vehicles, price moderation, and improvement of services.

Each CDN representative was provided with a "Dealer's Package", containing the list of single necessary requirements for appearance and quality of work of showrooms selling GAZ vehicles. It will allow to raise the image of the manufacturing and selling companies and will also bring the quality of rendered services to a single high level.

The best GAZ CDN representatives were determined considering the results of 2004; at the plenary session they were awarded with special honorary prizes and memorable gifts.
