According to the latest information JSC GAZ (a member of RusPromAvto holding) has manufactured 231 336 vehicles and autokits, that is 17 847 (8.4%) units more than in 2003.
The production volume of 2004 in comparison with the previous year has increased by 8.7% and amounted to 44 billion 176 million 279 thousand rubles.
For the last year (2004) 214, 251 vehicles were assembled: 65, 686 passenger cars, 117,043 commercial vehicles and trucks and 31,552 minibuses. Compared to the year 2003, production of GAZ vehicles increased by 12,852 (6.4%) units: by 8, 903 (15.7%) - passenger cars, by 8, 726 (8.1%) - commercial vehicles and trucks. Besides, 8,645 vehicles were forwarded to small batch production division of JSC GAZ.
8,440 autokits were supplied by GAZ to the assembly automobile plants.
JSC GAZ manufactured spare parts for the amount of 2 billion 751 million 239 thousand rubles. As compared to 2003, the volume of production increased by 26.2% in comparable prices.
