The tuning centre has been set up in the low volume vehicle workshop in order to expand product supply, raise competitiveness and consumer attraction of the GAZ products.

The GAZ-ART's major task is to tune the vehicles of the model range due to application of extra equipment, alternative power units and individual assembly as well as to restore GAZ retro-vehicles.

The OJSC GAZ enjoys the unique vehicle manufacturing technologies, a great number of pieces of technical literature and experienced professional specialists. Such potential allows to exploit all factory potentialities to prepare the vehicles for mass production and tune and restore in full the vehicles on individual orders from demanding customers. The GAZ-ART technological base ensures original assembly of badly used vehicles, high quality painting, chromium- and nickel-plating, installation of imported Ford and Chrysler engines, full reequipment of the passenger compartment.

GAZ-ART's activity to raise competitiveness of the vehicles is a combination of the Gorky Automobile Plant traditions and its new opportunities.
