FESCO got the special prize on the conference "PLC Russian Railways on the Transportations Market: cooperation and partnership".

PLC FESCO is the first company to get a prize in the category "the best partner in adjacent transportations". The award was presented by Russian Railways President Gennadiy Fadeev.

In 2004 the two leading transportation companies - PLC Russian Railways and PLC FESCO on an equal footing established a new transportation company - Russkaya Troika Ltd.

The new company was founded to develop the intermodal services, to expand Russia's share of the containerized tonnage between the Western Europe and Asian-Pacific countries, rearrangement of containerized tonnage from oceanic road via Suez Canal to Trans-Siberian route.
