Moscow, 13 December 2007. OAO "WGC-6"* has announced an invitation of bids for its additional shares. The bids may be submitted to WGC-6's broker, OAO "MDM Bank" through 18 December 2007.

The WGC-6 Board of Directors is expected to determine the share offering price on 19 December 2007.

On 18 September 2007, the Federal Service for Financial Markets of Russia registered the additional share issue and prospectus of the issue of 11.85 billion ordinary shares of WGC-6, par value RUB0.48 each, to be placed through open subscription (public offering).

The invitation to make bids has been posted on the WGC-6 website at www.ogk6.ru and published in the AK&M and Interfax newswires.

* OAO "WGC-6" was registered with the authorities on 17 March 2005. The company's reorganization was completed on 29 September 2006. OAO "WGC-6" comprises six branches (power plants): Kirishskaya TPP, Krasnoyarskaya TPP-2, Novocherkasskaya TPP, Ryazanskaya TPP, Cherepovetskaya TPP, and TPP-24 (GRES-24). The plants comprising OAO "WGC-6" have an aggregate installed capacity of 9,052 MW.
