Moscow, 20 May 2008. TGC-5's social responsibility and corporate sustainability report was named the winner in the category "Best Report, Non-OECD Company" and the third in the category "Best Report, Media". The contest was organized by the Global Reporting Initiative Association, and the awards were given at GRI's Amsterdam Global Conference on Transparency and Sustainability.

RAO "UES of Russia" launched the CSR reporting process in the holding company in 2005. Simultaneously with the preparation of "Social Responsibility and Corporate Sustainability Reporting" for the energy holding as a whole, similar work was launched at subsidiaries of RAO "UES of Russia". This will help ensure continuity of the principles and social responsibility policy in the electricity industry after the parent company's reorganization.
