Moscow, 6 March 2006. On 3 March 2006, the Federal Service for Financial Markets of Russia (FSFM) registered the share issues and share placement reports filed by OAO "Buryatenergosbyt" and OAO "Buryatgeneratsia" spun off from OAO "Buryatenergo". According to the Resolutions on share issuance and the placement reports, the following amounts of shares were issued:

OAO "Buryatenergosbyt"

- 259,045,261 uncertificated registered ordinary shares, par value RUB0.5 per share, for a total value of RUB129,522,630.5. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-55176-?.

OAO "Buryatgeneratsia"

- 259,045,261 uncertificated registered ordinary shares, par value RUB9.55 per share, for a total value of RUB2,473,882,242.55. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-55177-E.

The state registration of OAO "Buryatenergosbyt" and OAO "Buryatgeneratsia" took place on 30 December 2005.
