Moscow. 31 July 2006. OAO "TGC-9"* has invited bids to take part in the competitive negotiations to select an organization to provide services relating to the placement of the company's additional shares**.
The bids will be accepted until 21 August 2006. Bids are invited from firms with extensive experience on the Russian and international securities markets, specifically, in arranging IPOs for Russian issuers on the Russian and international stock exchanges over the past three years.
The competitive negotiations are scheduled for 23 August 2006. The notice publication in Russian may be viewed on the website of RAO "UES of Russia" at https://www.rao-ees.ru/ru/purchas/zakupki/showad.cgi?ad=00000000221.

* OAO "TGC-9" was registered on 9 December 2004 in the city of Perm. The Director General of OAO "TGC-9" is Valery Rodin. TGC-9 has been carrying out operations since 1 April 2005.
** On 23 June 2006, the Board of Directors of RAO "UES of Russia" approved the list of pilot projects involving issuance of additional shares of WGCs and TGCs in order to raise funds needed to develop thermal generation, and gave approval to the sale of part of RAO UES shareholdings in these companies. This list includes OAO "WGC-3", OAO "WGC-4", OAO "WGC-5", OAO "Mosenergo" (OAO "TGC-3"), and OAO "TGC-9".
