Moscow. July 12, 2006. Today, TGC-6 shares have begun to be traded as non-listed shares at the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange.

The decision to include TGC-6 shares in the non-listed stock list (admitted for trading without the listing procedure) was approved by the MICEX Directorate on July 7, 2006. The trading code of the shares is TGKF-001D.

It is planned that in the next two weeks TGC-6 shares will begin to be traded on the trading floors of NP RTS Stock Exchange and ??? RTS Stock Exchange.

The entry of territorial generation companies and wholesale generation companies into the securities market is in line with the long-term strategy of RAO UES of Russia aimed at attracting funds from private investors to the electricity sector.

To date, shares in four wholesale and territorial generation companies – Mosenergo (TGK-3), TGC-6, OGK-3, and OGK-5 – are traded on stock exchanges. It is expected that before the end of 3Q06 shares in the following companies will enter the organized market: TGC-5, TGC-8, TGC-9, OGK-4, OGK-2, and OGK-6.
