Moscow, 28 December 2005. The Federal Service for Financial Markets of Russia (FSFM) on 27 December 2005 registered share issues and share placement reports of the companies spun off from OAO "Kolenergo" and OAO "Permenergo".

The securities regulator registered the share issues and share placement reports of OAO "Kolskaya Generation Company" and OAO "Perm Trunk Grid Company".

According to the Resolutions on share issuance and the placement reports, the following amounts of shares were issued:

1. OAO "Kolskaya Generation Company":

 - 357,158,757 uncertificated registered ordinary shares, par value RUB4 per share, for a total value of RUB1,428,635,028. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-55164-E;

 - 118,405,759 uncertificated registered preferred shares, par value RUB4 per share, for a total value of RUB473,623,036. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 2-01-55164-E.

The state registration of OAO "Kolskaya Generation Company" took place on 1 October 2005.

2. OAO "Perm Trunk Grid Company":

 - 36,210,960 uncertificated registered ordinary shares, par value RUB10.5 per share, for a total value of RUB380,215,080. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-55156-E;

 - 11,353,500 uncertificated registered preferred shares, par value RUB10,5 per share, for a total value of RUB119,211,750. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 2-01-55156-E.

The state registration of OAO "Perm Trunk Grid Company" took place on 3 October 2005.

Information for the attention of stock market participants:

Shares in the spin-off companies were distributed among the shareholders of the company reorganized through spin-off.

Shareholders in the reorganized regional energo are entitled to receive, for each share of the class (type) held by them, shares of the same class (type) in each of the newly established companies, at a ratio determined in the resolution on the reorganization.

The date on which the shares in the spin-off companies are placed is the date of state registration of the companies established as a result of regional energos' reorganization. The new shares are to be credited to the securityholder accounts with registrars and to the securities safekeeping accounts with securities depositories in accordance with the records in the share register of the regional energo as at such date.

The new shares are to be credited to the securityholder accounts by the Registrar maintaining the share registers of the newly established companies.
