Moscow, 26 December 2005. Just before the Christmas holiday season, all energy companies of RAO UES Holding Company have launched a charity campaign "The Brightest Christmas Tree". Energy companies will give presents and Christmas trees decorated with lights and ornaments to children's homes, hospitals, rehabilitation clinics and other children's institutions.
The scope of charity is unprecedented: energy companies will bring their light and warmth to hundreds of sponsored institutions across the country.
A similar campaign was held by RAO "UES of Russia" before the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Besides, energy companies installed lighting facilities at memorials and monuments dedicated to the Great Patriotic War.
