Power generation of OJSC "Bashkirenergo" in April 2012 dropped by 13% Y-o-Y and totaled to 6,310.81 mln kWh in consequence of price reduction for electricity on the day-ahead market in comparison with the previous year.

According to SO UPS the total power output of Russia in April 2012 declined by 0.6% Y-o-Y to 82.9 bln kWh, and the total power generation at the Urals united power system grew by 1% Y-o-Y and comprised 20.5 bln kWh. However, inside a month the total power output of Russia reduced by 14.4%Q-o-Q and power generation at the Urals united power system declined by11.6% Q-o-Q due to expected seasonal decline of energy consumption compared to autumn and winter period. At the same time monthly average temperature of the outside air was 2¨¬¬³ higher than in the previous year becoming the main factor affecting indicators of energy consumption in Russia.

Thus, share of Bashkirenergo's output was 7.90% in UPS Urals and 1.95% in Russia as a whole.

Heat output of OJSC "Bashkirenergo:" in April 2012 reduced by 22.9% compared to the similar of the last year and comprised 1,660.02 thousand Gcal due to decline in demand from the side of large consumers and reduction of heat and hot water supply conditioned by a higher temperature of the outside air in comparison with April of 2011.
