Power generation of OJSC “Bashkirenergo” in Q1 2012 reduced by 1% Y-o-Y and totaled to 6,310.81mln kWh. At the same time power generation for March 2012 increased by 3.6% versus similar indicator of the previous year and reached 2,103.74 mln kWh.

According to SO UPS the total power output of Russia in 1Q 2012 increased by 2.9% to 298.2 bln kWh compared to Q1 2011 and the total power generation at the Urals united power system rose 1,8% to 71.2 bln kWh. At that total power output of Russia in March 2012 rose by 1.5% versus similar month of the previous year and reached 96.9 bln kWh, at Urals united power system power output in March 2012 was 23.2 bln kWh up 1.3% Y-o-Y.

Thus, share of Bashkirenergo’s output in Q1 2012 reached 8.86% in UPS Urals and 2.1% in Russia as a whole. The similar indicators of March 2012 were 9.06% and 2.17% respectively.

Heat output of OJSC “Bashkirenergo” in Q1 2012 reduced by 0.6% compared to the similar of the last year and comprised 9,694.8 thousand Gcal, at the same time reduction in March was 3.6% Y-o-Y to 2,858.2 thousand Gcal, mostly due to decline in demand from the side of a large consumer and increase of temperature by 2.2C in March.
