Aeroflot-Russian Airlines operating results for October and ten months of 2004 have been summed up.

In October 2004 the airline company carried 601 900 passengers (including 11 300 passengers of charter flights) and 15 100 tons of post and freight. There were made 1.791 billion passenger-kilometers and 249.8mln ton-kilometers.

Operating volumes have increased according to all indicators vs. the prior year and amounted to: according to passenger-kilometers – 110.4% (+169.4 mln pkm), according to ton-kilometers – 120.4% (+42.3 mln tkm), according to carriage of passengers – 118.9% (+95 800 passengers), according to freight carriage – 134.5% (+3 796.5 tons).

For ten months of 2004 Aeroflot carried 5.850 million passengers and 118 000 tons of post and freight; there were made 17.739 billion passenger-kilometers and 2.282 billion ton-kilometers.

Passenger seats’ occupation rate amounted to 69.6 per cent; and it exceeded the prior year level by 0.3 per cent. Percentage of enplaned traffic amounted to 58.1 per cent; it exceeded the prior year level by 1.6 per cent.

In comparison with the last year operating volumes have increased according to all indicators and amounted to: according to passenger-kilometers – 115.7 per cent (+2411.7 mln pkm), according to carriage of passengers – 117.8 per cent (+884 300 passengers), according to ton-kilometers – 122.4 per cent (+417.3 million tkm), according to freight carriage – 131.0 per cent (+27 195.5 tons).

They have flown on all airline types on the whole by 20.1 per cent more than last year.
