Aeroflot-Russian Airlines operating results for December and twelve months of 2004 have been summed up.

In December 2004 the airline company carried 496 400 passengers (including 13 300 passengers of charter flights) and 14 000 tons of post and freight. There were made 1.635 billion passenger-kilometers and 226.8mln ton-kilometers.

Operating volumes have increased according to all indicators vs. the prior year and amounted to: according to passenger-kilometers – 112.4% (+180.9 mln pkm), according to ton-kilometers – 117.8% (+34.3 mln tkm), according to carriage of passengers – 113.0% (+57 000 passengers), according to freight carriage – 129.4% (+3 082.2 tons).

Percentage of enplaned traffic amounted to 58.1% in December. Passenger seats’ occupation rate was 66.4%.

For twelve months of 2004 Aeroflot carried 6.862 million passengers and 146 700 tons of post and freight; there were made 21.001 billion passenger-kilometers and 2.745 billion ton-kilometers.

Passenger seats’ occupation rate amounted to 69.0 %. Percentage of enplaned traffic amounted to 58.2 %; it exceeded the level of 2003 by 1.2 %.

In comparison with the last year operating volumes have increased according to all indicators and amounted to: according to passenger-kilometers – 115.4 % (+2798.1 mln pkm), according to carriage of passengers – 117.4 % (+1 018 900 passengers), according to ton-kilometers – 121.8 % (+492.0 mln tkm), according to freight carriage – 130.0 % (+33 040.9 tons).

They have flown on all airline types on the whole by 20.5 % hours more than in 2003.
