Surgutneftegas by the end of 2003 plans to put into operation 2 gas turbine power plants (GTPP) at Lukyavinskoye and Russkinskoye oil fields. Three more GTPPs are to be commissioned in 1Q 2004, one at Bittemskoye and two at Lyantorskoye oil fields. With total capacity of 156 MW this project will require about USD 125 mn of investments (based on USD 0.8 mn required to commission 1MW).
Now the Company’s Surgut Construction and Mounting Trust ?1 is finalizing assemblage of GTPPs’ main buildingsat Lukyavinskoye, Bittemskoye and Russkinskoye oil fields. It has finished the construction of auxiliary buildings and equipment and started mounting of production facilities. A boiler-house at the first GTPP is being prepared for commissioning. Together with preparing erection of metalwork at the main building-house and auxiliary facilities the Company is completing foundation work at two GTPPs located at Lyantorskoye oil field.
Altogether since 2001 the Company has been operating three GTPPs, which produce a total of 43.5MW/h. Annual amount of associated gas consumed in 2002 by OJSC “Surgutneftegas” to operate the plants accounted for over 106 mcm.
